A story of patience, knowledge, and coexistence with the black leopard. In the rugged valleys of Laikipia, Kenya.

This story is not about rarity. It is about understanding.

For four years, we have followed signs of a black leopard across the valleys of Laikipia, guided by the knowledge of the rangers and herders of Mpala who have lived in this landscape for generations. Through time, patience, and fieldcraft, what emerges is not a single sighting, but a deeper understanding of coexistence, and of how stories shape the way we see wildlife.
