Why Predators
Africa’s Predator Expeditions is a ClementWild Productions project exploring human–predator coexistence through film, science, and field expeditions across Africa.
Predators shape far more than the moments they are seen. Their presence influences movement, behaviour, and the balance of entire landscapes. To follow predators is to observe the relationships between wildlife, people, and place over time.
Our work is built through patience in the field documenting behaviour not as spectacle, but as part of understanding coexistence and the rhythms of the landscapes we work in.
People + Predators
Coexistence stories are shaped as much by people as wildlife. Across the landscapes we work in, generations of knowledge continue to guide how predators are understood, tracked, and lived alongside.
Our fieldwork is built alongside researchers, rangers, and communities whose understanding of the land comes from time, experience, and daily life within these ecosystems. By listening first and spending time in the landscape, we are able to document stories that reflect the complexity, responsibility, and reality of coexistence.
Our Expeditions
All expedition profits directly support the production of future human-predator coexistence stories.
Join our privately guided expeditions
Our expeditions are shaped by the same principles that guide our films: patience, fieldcraft, and a deep respect for place. We do not chase moments or headlines. We spend time in the landscape, observing and documenting behaviour as it unfolds. We bring the same expertise applied to our wildlife filming projects, with safety and wildlife welfare always at the forefront.
Working alongside experienced field teams and local knowledge, participants are introduced to the process behind the story, learning how to read movement, anticipate behaviour, and build sequences with intention. This is an opportunity to step into the work itself and experience how stories are shaped over time.
